Two Sundays ago, my fellow CDObies (CDO Bloggers) and I were invited to foodpanda Logistics’ Mindanao leg of their annual year-end celebration, the Pau-tastic Party ng Taon. We had a lot of fun cheering for the foodpanda riders who competed in the fun games, including the much awaited Pera o Panda Bag and the grand raffle draw. We also feasted on good food and refreshing drinks as the night went on. It was certainly a memorable evening for everyone, especially for the foodpanda riders who won the big prizes. Read on to find out what these prizes were, who took them home, and which celebrities joined the celebration.
foodpanda Logistics’ Pau-tastic Party ng Taon continued its multi-city rollout with its Mindanao leg, gathering hundreds of Ka-panda riders last December 7 for a night of celebration and community, including those who came all the way from Iligan, Malaybalay, and Valencia.

The second leg of the company’s biggest event for its Ka-panda riders brought its own standout moments, featuring exciting games, major raffle draws. They also also enjoyed a wide range of giveaways—including cash prizes, home gadgets, riding gear, exclusive foodpanda merchandise, and sponsor prizes from Immuni+, Motivo, Transcycle, and SeaOil—giving many Ka-pandas the chance to take home something special.
“Tonight is for you, Ka-pandas, for your hard work and dedication all throughout the year,” said Operations Manager Ruben Mariano. “We’re here in Cagayan de Oro to celebrate our Mindanaoan partner riders who give their best all year.”
This gathering also emphasized foodpanda’s message that this Pasko, they gotchu—a reminder that every Ka-panda rider deserves to feel seen and appreciated during the busiest time of the year.
Another Night of Big Wins and Big Surprises

The night featured fan-favorite games, starting with Role-Tanong followed by PauPau Panda Game, a lively Hep Hep Hooray–inspired activity that instantly energized the room. The winner of this round was then surprised with an exclusive chance to play the popular Pera o Panda Bag.

Joy “Jojo” Ebcas, a single dad and a Ka-panda for three years now, secured the top spot and moved on to the high-stakes round. Anticipation grew as the hosts attempted to convince him to choose the cash over his selected Panda Bag. Jojo, visibly emotional, shared that any prize would go a long way in supporting his family, especially as he continues to care for his mother, who had a mild stroke.
After a suspense-filled game, Jojo took home the super jackpot prize of PhP300,000 and a brand new motorcycle. Overwhelmed with emotion, he shared how grateful he was for the blessing and even mentioned his plans to share part of his winnings with his co-riders.

The momentum continued with the grand raffle, where riders eagerly awaited the draw for the Honda Aerox units and PhP100,000. One of the lucky winners, Ka-panda Jade Moreno, walked away with PhP100,000—his first time winning any raffle in his life—and expressed pure disbelief and joy as the crowd cheered him on.

The entertainment lineup brought even more energy to the evening, with hosts Tanya Chinita, Terry Gian, and DJ Maria keeping riders engaged through nonstop banter, games, and onstage gimmicks.
High-energy performances from Maui Bordador, Bert Symoun, and Dreycruz—including their hit ‘Wag Ipagsabi’—had young riders singing along, while Lucas Garcia delivered crowd-pleasing OPM hits that kept spirits high from start to finish. A wave of nostalgia swept the venue when Salbakuta hit the stage—rain and all—performing favorites like Binibirocha and Banyo Queen, and closing with their iconic track Stupid Love.
For many, the night felt like more than an event, it was a moment of unity for the Ka-panda community. Rodolfo Gannaban, a Ka-panda rider for six years, shared, “Biyaya talaga ’to para sa amin. Tuwang-tuwa kaming mga riders, lalo na’t first time magkaroon ng ganitong celebration dito sa CDO. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na sama-sama kami ngayon.”
The Pau-tastic Roadtrip’s Final Stop for 2025
Beyond the main regional legs, foodpanda Logistics is also supporting community-initiated gatherings across the country, making sure more Ka-pandas are able to join the holiday festivities wherever they are.
The Pau-tastic Party ng Taon’s final stop was Pampanga, where they partied last December 14, 2025.
With each city bringing its own stories and standout winners, the celebration reaffirms foodpanda Logistics’ commitment to honoring the people who keep the streets pink every day. (PR)
The Pau-tastic Party ng Taon showed us how much foodpanda takes care of its Ka-panda riders. A lot of them took home cash prizes from the games. They also celebrated with good food and drinks. And like us, they enjoyed singing and dancing along with all the celebrity performers. The best parts of the evening for us were all the times the riders won the games and received cash prizes. The smiles on their faces were enough to light up the city’s tallest Christmas tree.
Thank you, foodpanda, for taking care of your riders. Thank you, foodpanda Logistics, for allowing us to celebrate with you. 🙂 It was a meaningful and memorable experience!
