Oro Teatro Bulawanon got the rights to stage The Vagina Monologues & A Memory, A Monlologue, A Rant, & A Prayer this year. VDay 2019 is our commitment to awareness on the movement against violence on women and girls. Our campaign and advocacy also includes the LGBTQ community and is open to men who support our cause.
Our TVM is an artistic – NOT POLITICAL – production. We use theater and the arts to convey our message to varied audiences.
If you are auditioning as a performer, please prepare a short monologue. We’re also looking for performers who can sing and dance, so if you can do one or both, please prepare to show your best to us.
The audition is open to ALL genders. You should be at least 17 years old to qualify as a performer.
We’re also looking for production staff volunteers.
Please take note that this is a benefit production. Our biggest reward for you is the opportunity to reach out to people by sharing stories of women, girls, men, and the LGBTQ that can contribute to the fight against violence (physical, psychological, and all forms of abuses). And like us, who have been doing this since 2013, you’ll learn more about yourself and the people around you as we go through the journey.
Lastly, we’re looking for partners who share our passion and dedication to the VDay cause. Partners who are willing to work with and help us bring the show to as diverse an audience as possible.
If you’re interested to audition or to partner with us, please send a message to or call 09178708792. You may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
