Going trick or treating this Halloween? Or would you rather party the night away in your favorite costumes? If you’re in Cagayan de Oro, check out these fun Halloween weekend activities:
For a worthy cause, Halloween Fun Run at SM CDO. Wear your best costume and bring empty clear 1.5 bottles for the Isang Litrong Liwanag Project. October 28, Friday, 6pm.
For the kids and the young-at-heart. October 29, Saturday, Halloween Party at Marco Hotel, Alwana Business Park, Cugman.
For tattoo lovers. Tattak Tattoo Competition at SM City CDO Carpark. Event starts at 10am, October 29, Saturday. Event has two categories. There are invited artists and guest DJs.
For the partygoers and club lovers, there’s Soundlab’s First Year Anniversary at Club Tilt. October 29, Saturday, 10pm. Those wearing Halloween costumes get discounted tickets and a chance to win a bevy of prizes. Best of all, guests will enjoy treats from DJ Taras Van De Voorde and DJ Elmer Dado. Trivia Night at Missy Bon Bon, Limketkai Center. MBB’s TN happens every Saturday, and since the next one falls on Halloween weekend, TN participants are encouraged to wear their best and most creative Halloween costumes. Aside from having fun with friends trying to answer trivia questions, you’ll also get to enjoy MBB’s Halloween cupcakes (shown below). So if you haven’t tried joining the MBB Trivia Night yet, October 29 is the perfect time to do so! The fun starts at 8pm! Rememeber, ’tis all for fun!

As for me, I’ll be spending the Halloween weekend with my sister, niece and cousins in Manila, shrieking our hearts out while Jason Mraz does his stuff on stage. But I’ll miss out on all the fun that my friends will be having as they show off their costumes this Saturday. So, since I won’t be with you on Saturday, Kili Elites, I’m posting a pic of myself in the costume I’d most probably be wearing if I were with you guys. (Sorry, had to crop it as I don’t have a solo pic.)
